Macrotech  MRS - 2 MG RAM Board

This was one of the few high density RAM boards made for the S-100 bus. It came out in the mid 1980s and was a 6 layer PC board.

The board was claimed to be compatible with all S-100 systems.  It was IEEE-696 compatible.  It had 120 nsec dynamic RAM chips and a LSI dynamic RAM controller circuit that Macrotech claimed really made the board look like static RAM.  The board could be upgraded from 256K, 500K, 1MG or 2MG of RAM depending on the RAM chips used.
