Alex,
KiCad is fairly nice to use. There is a bit of a learning curve. But there's lots of help. Look up the "Getting to Blinky" tutorial on youtube. I've used Orcad, Ultimate PCB and Autocad (not pcb) and they all work the same once you train your fingers to do what you want. There were some quirks, but nothing too serious. Long term plans for Board layouts From: jjac...@gmail.com To: n8vem...@googlegroups.com Having not worked with KiCAD, can someone tell me if it doesn't have an autorouter or if it is hard to use, or not very functional? Honestly, as good as the autorouter in DipTrace is, I generally lay out my boards manually, or if I do let the autorouter run, I end up heavily editing the results. On Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 2:33 PM, David Fry <dgf...@googlemail.com> wrote:
