Re: [N8VEM-S100:2977] 6502 v1 CPU board and the EPROM/RAM board (sINTA problem)

Neil, I confirm I had to do no mods on my board to get the tight print loop working. It's probably a different revision.

John,

The ROM is a 2732. My board is an early validation board that I worked directly with Andrew on. It's an early enough board it doesn't have gold plated fingers on the S-100 connector. As I recall all of the changes I had to make were required to simply get a tight loop outputting a single character through the UART to run.

There may have been a 2nd run of V1 boards with all my mod's incorporated; Andrew might know.

All of the Apple 1 porting I did was after I got the board running; I have a video on youtube showing the system running. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUbwLzbJ7yQ&list=UUsT812jObwTqt-Kc4bWLtUQ
This video is with WOZ's simple monitor in a 2732 with my changes to it to allow console style I/O.
