Re: S-100 6502 CPU poll

Hi,

In response to a question I received separately but with general
interest..

Assuming 20 builders get a board then it would be the normal $20 per
PCB plus shipping. It seems to me about 30 PCBs is the "break even"
PCB manufacturing order threshold.

If I get 20 solid commitments, then most likely I'll break even since
I've found once a board actually *exists* there is a steady trickle of
builders who arrive late to pick up the rest.

My preferred approach is that we do this as a "group buy" and all the
boards find homes from here -- builder to builder. If things go
wrong, then I will offer the boards in other forums like CCTALK,
vintage-computer.com forums, comp.os.cpm, and even (yech) eBay.

However, I only use eBay as a last resort due to a colossal screw up.
Thank goodness they are there though since they've saved my bacon
several times.

Thanks and have a nice day!
