S-100 4MB SRAM board and S-100 backplane PCBs ordered

Hi!

With our recent successful reorders of the S-100 IDE V2 board and S-100 ZFDC board PCBs I’d like to speed this process up a bit.  Last night I reordered the S-100 4MB SRAM board and S-100 backplane PCBs.  They should be here in about three weeks or early July 2012.

The S-100 4MB SRAM board PCB is identical to previous versions *except* I updated the fill zones to use thermal pads rather than including the ground pins.  This is a relatively minor detail but several builders found it difficult to solder the component ground pins with the rather large fill zones acting as a heat sink.

The S-100 backplane are the Rev 1 versions from the previous cycle and completely unchanged.

As I recall, Rich Leary did a nice write up on constructing the S-100 backplane.

Hopefully these boards work out and we can get further down the list of PCB reorders this summer.

Thanks and have a nice day!
