John — No problem John; I get it. I was using the image provided on the wiki in the “S100 Software” folder, so I assumed it was generic enough for a base system consisting of only N8/S100 cards. The CPM3 archive in the same folder doesn’t seem to contain source code (that I can see), so I can’t see what’s going on. Maybe Yoda can jump in here since I think he created the archive that’s posted. In order to be of some help, need more information. You need to modify the Bios/Loader and drop bread crumbs along the way (I output a single character on the screen at each step) to determine where the problem is. John From: n8vem...@googlegroups.com [mailto:n8vem...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Richard Cini All — I gave up on the ZFDC for now since I can’t get it to calibrate properly (I can’t get the separator frequency above 450kHz with a Qume 242 drive connected), so I went back to the IDE board. I first removed the D82C55-5 (NEC version) and replaced with a regular 82C55AC. I made a DOS 4.01 image from the one on the web site and gave it a whirl and it works! Yipee! However, I can’t get it to boot CPM3. I’m using the “banked-prop” version and the only message I get is “BOOT error.” I’m using a 32mb CF card. Not sure what’s up with that, but any advice would be appreciated.
