I'm getting the same behavior. Caps lock works, it sets/clears the LED, puts the other keys in caps mode, but always sends a ^ when going into and out of caps lock.
The Numlock sends an underscore, but works.. and the Scrolllock sends a ] character
Probably little oversights in the spin program... hopefully the next version might correct it.

Thanks or the input. I got my keyboard to work - sticky keys. However now I also get "^" when I press the "CAPS LOCK". Must be something in the keyboard.spin program. I am using Josh's 8080 CPU board.

Hi everyone,
I am using the propeller driven consoleIO along with the AT style keyboard. I noticed that the 'CAPS LOCK' key doesn't seem to work - at least I don't get upper case like I should. Before I blame the keyboard I was wondering if anyone could check on their system to see if they have problems with the same key. I haven't checked the keyboard.spin program yet to see if that key is not being decoded.
Any feedback?
