Matt from a software prospective the boards behave very similar. The same software works on both. It’s just with the original board only one CF card/drive is available. From a hardware point of view the Dual is more useful. It’s really nice to save CF cards back and forth. Of course you can use the single by moving stuff back and forth with a hdisk/floppy, (disable the power on the board (with the switch provided), add a second CF-card, add back CF card power, reset your system (^C in CPM), and them put stuff on to the second card, but it becomes a real pain over time.
