Re: A windows based program to write a CPM3 image to a CF card for the S100 IDE board

Hi Dave,
My system currently doesn't have a serial port so once CPM3.SYS signs on I wont see any thing, any chance you could do a console version.
To answer your second question, No, no modifications to the monitor or boot rom is necessary, As you pointed out in a previous post, once the first 12 sectors are loaded up and CPMLDR.COM starts to execute all CHS to LBA requests are done within CPMLDR.COM and CPM3.SYS.

Hi David

I am still having problems.  Can you try this image - it should be non-banked and work with the serial port.  It has your HLDRBIOS code in the cpmldr.  When I try it it reads the cpmldr, displays the sign on and jumps to block 0x40 and then complains of a BDOS Err, Perm.  like it can't find the directory.   I assume I don't need to modify the boot rom for no holes as it is only in the picture to load the cpmldr from track 0 and that appears to work?

Thanks in advance - I don't see why this should not just work now.
