RE: [N8VEM-S100:1233] 6502 CPU "Production" S-100 boards

Interesting! I am currently using 4 MHz Oscillator (divided by 2) to give a
2 MHz CPU clock. It is a 65C02A (so has extra instructions etc). Next time
I'm doing a Mouser order I will try one of those out. I see no reason
however why the board would not work at a higher speed as the layout is very
simple.

Subject: [N8VEM-S100:1233] 6502 CPU ?Production? S-100 boards

John: I see that Oscar Vermeulen on the NV8EM mail-list has uncovered the
fact that Mouser is now stocking a new 65C02 (technically:
W65C02S6TPG-14) from Western Design rated for 14 MHz:

It's a standard PDIP-40 and $6.95 @.

What sort of clock frequency have you been using to test the prototype
board? Maybe this will help you goose it a bit further?
