thickness is 2.0mm - this was discussed at length and with respect to the connectors, this i found to be the best option to using standard connectors with normal tail lenghts and pricing per unit (pricing started to get out of control over 2.6mm). IMHO 2.0mm should be quite ridged especially with the extra mounting holes added to the board.
