All — Now that my 8086 system is humming along, I want to get the ZFDC working. Since the diagnostic program is Z80-only, I’ve gone back to the Z80 for the moment. Which kind of floppy drives are people using? For vintageness, I wanted to start with the Tandon TM100-2A (the 5.25” drive used in the original IBM-PC), but when that didn’t respond to the diagnostic commands, I changed to a YE380 (5.25” 1.2MB drive, from a PC/AT) I had on the shelf. That drive didn’t respond either. I have been through the pinouts and jumpers, so, before I go absolutely crazy, I’d like to check mine against someone with a working configuration. I won’t be using 8” drives with this configuration, so the 5” floppy drives will be A and B. Thanks!
