RE: [N8VEM-S100:1012] Re: S-100 8088 CPU board PCBs have arrived!

Along the same lines that Andrew mentioned below. I will start assembling
the board as soon as I get it and (if necessary) tweak the web write-up so
people that might initially be scared to jump into the 16 bit S-100 world
can feel more confident. See:-

.htm

While you are waiting, do take time to figure out how you are going to
program either a UV EPROM or EEPROM. I recommend you use the "top half" of a
28C256 EEPROM. They are cheap, easy and fast to program using a windows
based PC and one of the many programmers available. I like and use the
Wellon units (http://www.weilei.com ). They are in China but ship to US no
problem. Great e-mail support as well.

Hi Jeff! Yes, there are extra PCBs. Feel free to get some!

I appreciate builders helping out by getting their boards whether they are
on the waiting list or not.

If there is sufficient demand we can always get more.

Its better the boards go to their builders rather than sit on a shelf at my
house -- left over PCBs really clog up the works.

This is a hobbyist community project so I appreciate yours and everyone's
involvement!

Thanks and have a nice day!
