RE: [N8VEM-S100:6706] CP/M Mbasic 5.21

Yes, it's for CP/M, that's where Todd found this weird problem.
I tried downloading MBasic 5.29, but it's in a .dsk format.  I'm guessing that's Dave Dunfield's image format...  not sure.  If anyone has a .cpm or .com copy, it will sure save me some time figuring out how to load the .dsk format.

Is BASIC in ROM on the IBM 5150 the same as MBasic?  I recall running "BASIC" and "BASICA" to invoke the ROM's if you had DOS already loaded (or you could just reboot the machine without a disk).  Later came GWBASIC which was stand alone, then QBASIC (which I still use quite often).

Cheers,
Josh

No, no ... I never even thought about DOS.  Since the problem was coming up on Josh's 8080 card, I assumed CP/M.  At least that's where I was running my tests.

I believe you are right.  I think DOS MBasic used some of the code (subroutine calls) in the on-board ROMs.
