I'm running both 1.2 & 2.3 and have some issues as well.
I also have the 'a>' prompt spread across two lines on initial boot.
Also I can't run Zork on v2.3, works fine on v1.2.

I see from your screen shot you have way more files, than I do.
Could you make your 'DISK-A' files available to me so I can try
the LS command.

Check out the output from 'ls'. It hangs on v2.3, looks good on v.1.2. Many, perhaps most, of the programs under v2.3 are misbehaving. 


This is 'ls' from v2.3 looks like it has some of the first line header text displaying at the end of the output,or trying to run again... It hangs at this same point repeatedly. 








This is 'ls' from the v1.2 it runs to completion consistently. Note the 'a>' prompt spread across two lines on initial boot. That behavior is consistent between boots with v1.2. I'm using the onboard console connection. 






Anyone else out there running v2.3 firmware?
