Then it may make more sense to bring up MS-DOS on a CF card first Frank. Since it seems you have the same setup as one of my systems here, (assuming as you say your CompuPro Interfacer I/O is the same as the Propeller Console I/O board), and if you get stuck, you can send me one or two CF cards and I can copy them across for you.

yes, i have the DUAL IDE board in the system, but at the moment no CF-Card image to try.
And yes, the drive access lights on the floppys are lit up.
