Re: [N8VEM-S100:238] S-100 CPU boards

Hi Mike,

I was looking around on your web site, and I noticed your 8-port serial
board is listed as capable of bit protocols and synchronous operation.

I have quite a bit of experience with synchronous and SDLC, and I seem
to remember that you need an MPSC (Multi-Protocol Serial Controller.

Either Intel 8274

or Zilog SCC

Are you certain you can do SDLC with a 16550?

Douglas
