Hi Ed,
That is almost a token price! Of course I'll want one, so put me on
the list.
It will be fun, and quite the adventure. The whole S-100 experience
still eludes me. First, an all in one board turned out to have a
corrupted ROM monitor, then I obtained a bunch of useless boards,
finally have a good set of CompuPro, but no working drive, (zero for
four!).
Steep curve, oh, VERY! :)
This CF concept seems to be a very good solution to augment the
first drive, I've CP/M86 on floppy ready to go.
No reply necessary, I'll watch for the time and method to pay, I'm
subscribed.

Hi Bruce,
I can put you down of one if you want. It'll be $20 per
board plus $4 shipping in the US.
Sounds like you might have just discovered the group? It's
a great place to learn about these systems.
A lot of experimenting and a steep learning curve though,
depending on background knowledge.
But hey, we all have to start somewhere. :)

Ed,
Correction, --I started a thread about the possibility
of HDD/SSD on S-100 board, which garnered
respondents that quickly zeroed in on the CF,
which to me is like having today's SSD with unpowered
memory!
However, I withdraw my optimistic order of maybe 2. I
have since looked at the page describing such things from
your link and it is so far above my head, I have no
business ordering, but...
If they are not too expensive, I could order 1 and
consider it a long term edu/project.
Please let me know the price, it is likely I cannot ever
rise to this level of knowledge.

Hi Ed,
I just started a thread about this today in
Vintage>S-100. I think I need to be on this list for
one, maybe 2!

Hi everybody,
Is anyone interested in getting one or more of
these?
Just post here and I'll get a list started.
Thanks,
Ed
