On the web page (in step by step build section), I point out that you can get these sockets from King-Cart (http://www.king-cart.com/phoenixent/product=SOCKETS+DIP+IC+MACHINED/exact_match=exact) #HW4643 @ 3.63 each.  Great source of all IC sockets BTW

By searching on "64 L shrink DIP", I can find part number "D8864-42-ND" (at around $6) but it is listed as "non-stock" with 0 quantity available.  Huh?
